Dr Daniel Lane

Dr Daniel Lane grew up in Melbourne and graduated with a six year medical degree from The University of Melbourne in 1999. After eight years of further postgraduate experience and training he achieved Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2008. He also has a Masters degree in healthcare leadership and has completed the Perioperative Medicine Certificate at Monash University. He is a Supervisor of Training for the college of anaesthetists at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.

After working as a staff specialist at Western Health and as a visiting specialist anaesthetist at the Austin Hospital he joined Melbourne Anaesthetic Group in 2018. He works in many hospitals across Melbourne providing anaesthesia for a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopaedics, weight loss surgery, plastics, vascular surgery, urology, eye surgery and ENT surgery.
