Dr Hannah Barker

MBBS, FRCA, FANZCA, MhlthServMt, PG Cert US, MMed

Dr Barker graduated from University of London, UK with a Bachelors Degree in Medicine & Surgery in 1995.

She commenced her anaesthetic specialist training through the London Imperial School of Anaesthesia, obtaining her Fellowship in 2008 to join the Royal College of Anaesthetists in the UK.

Following this she transferred to Melbourne, training at the Austin, Mercy and Northern Hospitals. She completed her Fellowship to join the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists as a Specialist Anaesthetist in 2011.

Since then, she has practiced as a Consultant Anaesthetist at The Royal Women’s Hospital, and previously at The Northern, and Royal Dental Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr. Barker joined Melbourne Anaesthetic Group in 2020. Her private practice covers many major private hospitals throughout Melbourne.

She has a Masters of Perioperative Medicine at Monash University supporting perioperative care, before and after surgery.
