Dr Marcus Choy

Dr Marcus Choy is a Specialist Anaesthetist and a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. He will meet you before your procedure to discuss your anaesthetic and allow time to answer questions.

He graduated from Melbourne University with Honours and trained in anaesthesia at the Austin and Northern Hospitals in Melbourne. He then completed a Fellowship at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Marcus is a Consultant Anaesthetist at the public hospitals of Austin and Northern Health and works in several private hospitals across Melbourne.

He has a wide variety of specialty interests including anaesthesia for orthopaedics, urology, ophthalmology, gastrointestinal endoscopy and ENT surgery.

Marcus maintains up-to-date medical knowledge by ongoing study and participation in local and overseas anaesthetic conferences and workshops.

Outside medicine, Marcus enjoys travel, music, food and wine as well as spending time with his family.
