Dr Michael Kirton

Dr Michael Kirton joined Melbourne Anaesthetic Group in 2001. He is a Specialist Anaesthetist and a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

After graduating from Medicine in Queensland, Dr Kirton worked as a junior doctor in remote areas before moving to Melbourne and completing his Anaesthetic training.

Dr Kirton anaesthetises for a wide variety of surgical specialties in both adult and paediatric populations.

He has appointments at most of Melbourne’s Private Hospitals and has worked at Box Hill Public Hospital since 2000 where he is involved in Anaesthetic training.
